Who am I?

So you are interested.

Well I shall torment you no further. Or perhaps I shall, a bit. If you spent any time on my main home page you will probably notice I have a bit of a theme.

Obviously, I like the romance. It's a natural part of the human condition. Songs, books, plays, dances; all art forms are influenced by it and that is at the heart of most of my writing.

I like an element of mystery - I mean, who doesn't love a bit of foreshadowing or absolute dread because you know something the characters doesn't and you beg and plead and shout for them to stop, but they just don't listen. Well. that's my jam. They never listen to me, they always do exactly what they like. But then, that to me is the fun of writing, I want to go on that adventure with them, I actually, really don't like telling them what to do. They always rebel when I try.

Anyway, I digress.

I have been writing all my life but there was always that part of me that kept saying, there is no point, no one is going to read it, it isn't any good etc. etc. You probably know the rest of the script.

Then she appeared, in her red hat and bright red lips. My Rosamund Bloom. Oh, she is truly ridiculous, theatrical, opinionated (overbearingly opinionated at times) but so wonderfully powerful in her confidence. She told me it was stupid that I was listening to my Jekyll. Jekyll was getting me no where.

She took hold of my hand and she showed me what I could do. Those beautiful stories I have been mulling over in my head; stored in the harddrive (or cloud) of my computer, started to seem possible with her by my side.

Rosuamund Bloom is my strength. She makes dreaming possible.

Who is the Legendary Lionhead Rabbit at the top of your homepage Rosamund?

Don't worry, I didn't forget.

This beautiful bundle of fluff is actually a real rabbit, she's just been transported into AI because I was having fun and realised she also needed a presence. This is my muse, my heart, my love. This is the queen of all beautiful companions (which is the meaning of her name). This is the legendary Nefertari (I call her Nefi and many versions of it for short). She is the darling that gives me hugs and kisses when I am sick, sad and heart sore. She is also what keeps me going through it all.

She of course queens it over the entire house, but the lack of her on my page felt as wrong as using my real name over Rosamund Bloom's. We all need a muse... and she is mine.

I have, incidentally, had the best time playing with various prompts to get these images of her. I am more than happy to share them if you also have a beautiful companion that deserves to be in their own magical adventure.

One day I will be able to pay real people but in the meantime... enjoy Nefi experiencing and dominating the magical world of Eldrice. Click the link to find out more about that world.
