Hello again. So, are you also feeling truly Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered by the world as we currently know it? I certainly am, hence my almost constant desire to escape from reality. Where you have now found yourself, is the place where the realities of the world start to infiltrate the fantastical. 

I have learned that it is a beautiful indulgence, writing away about magical or historical worlds. However, (as my Rosie has allowed me to explore) there is more to it, if you also dream of seeing that most beloved book, that portal into your imagination, on a bookshelf.

What you will find below are two blogs, which I will be posting to every week.

Writing the Words, speaks to my process of actually putting words on the page. I will be exploring the process of creating worlds, people, magical systems, searching history, creating characters, scenes and challenging the dreaded writers' block. 

The Confusing World of Publication, is where most of the bewilderment is likely to be found. It is where I will be writing about my journey in the world of publishing and writing in general, reflecting on conferences, communities, conflicting advice, different forms of publishing, approaching agents etc. etc. This list is truly endless and I am discovering new aspects on a daily basis.
